Description
A young boy with a contemplative expression is prominently featured within a patchwork of textures and objects, including rustic pipes and peeling paint. The scene is framed by ornamental elements and contains written text, giving it a somber, vintage quality.
I re-uploaded this after changing it somehow. Just thought it was too dark and lightened and brightened it.
Any proceeds of this piece will be donated to the Red Cross in aid of the Ukraine.

It is a Crime that people have no place to live or to eat - while billions upon billions of dollars are senselessly wasted for no other purpose or reason than to kill people ! -

Nina, thank you so very much for featuring my work in your group 'Art - It is Good for You'. I can certainly say that ART is good for me. It is helping me right now through some rough patch. And creating art is like a refuge and blessing.

Children can be resilient in an amazing way, however this sadly reminds me of those struggling with poverty, or those in war torn countries. And yet, there he is, somehow his facial expression tells me he will deal, maybe much better than many. Awesome and emotional art Sabina.
Sabina Pamfili replied:
dear Sharon, thank you, thank you so very much. You are right: I have problems understanding how all this evil can continue to go on and on....

He reminds me of the little rascals, really cute look on his little face! Super fun!
Sabina Pamfili replied:
yes, NL, you are right, he kind of cheers up the viewer because somehow he tells us that he will come out on top.

So meaningful and thought provoking. Beautiful textures and the gold, contrasting with the reality of the situation for him. Another wonderful piece of work Sabina. x
